I started working with London Youth Rowing in September 2022, but I started my rowing career with Nottingham & Union Rowing Club at the age of 18 and have been passionate about the sport since then. Over the past 15 years I have been coaching Juniors of all age groups in the N&URC Junior program which has grown from a small group of Club Officer’s sons and daughters to over a hundred athletes.

I am currently Team Manager of the East Midlands JIRR, and I am the EM Junior Rep on the National Junior Committee. My approach from the beginning has always been to give the children the freedom that allows them to be the best they can be.

Getting involved with LYR means I can bring that same level of fun and achievement to an even wider cross section of young people. Currently my most important Life Skill is Leadership. So many aspects of my life rely on supporting, encouraging, and motivating others to achieve a goal.
